Wer bei bluesky unterwegs ist, kann nun wechseln von den üblichen US-Host auf einen EU-Host bei eurosky.tech und steht damit unter dem EU-DSGVO-Dach.
Durch das AT-Protokoll ist ein Wechsel der Daten von bluesky.social nach eurosky.social zügig und leicht machbar: https://move.eurosky.tech/
Bluesky ist ähnlich wie Signal eine massentaugliche Lösung und besser als der Kram von den US-Oligarchen und -faschisten. Dennoch gibt es ein paar Fallstricke, z.B. wie immer betrifft das die Finanzierung.
Bluesky kann selbst gehostet werden, ist im Prinzip also dezentral, arbeitet mit dem AT-Protokoll, ist mit Federation verknüpfbar usw.
Ich habe eben einen Wechsel vollzogen und hat < 10 Minuten gedauert.
